Home Remedies for Cholera
Cholera is a serious and highly infectious disease. It affects people during the rainy season. It is water borne disease. Commonly it is caused by the bacterium vibrio cholerae that is entering into the body through infected or impure water or food. This disease is also called as Asiatic cholera. Most of the Indians are affected in this disease. Sometimes in the severe case it can lead to death. So, immediate and proper treatment is requiring for cholera.
Symptoms of Cholera
The common symptoms of cholera are minor diarrhea, vomiting, agitation, feeling thirsty, loose motion, sickness, high temperature, high or low blood pressure, pain in leg, skin becomes dry.
Causes of Cholera
Cholera is mainly caused by the bacteria vibrio cholerae, which is enter through the body at the time of drinking impurity water and eating poor foods. Apart from this the cholera can causes by the raw vegetables and non vegetables such as potatoes, beans, milk, coconut milk, fish, chicken, eggs.
Home Remedies for Cholera
Following are some of the useful home remedies for cholera.
Drink the juice if lime every day. It will help to killing the bacteria.
Crush about thirty grams of onion with seven black peppers. Take this mixture two to three times daily. It is one of the effective treatments for cholera.
Consume cooked rice water regularly. It will help to reduce the bacteria during cholera internally.
Take light foods by avoiding other spicy food, junk food or oily food.
Put the leaves of holy basil in warm water and then drink it. It will work as magic for cholera.
One of the effective home remedy for reducing thirst is add one glass of cucumber juice with one glass of coconut water and take 30 to 60 ml of this mixture everyday.
Taking of buttermilk is another best home treatment for cholera.
Mix equal amount of bitter gourd juice and white onion juice and then add one tea spoon of lemon juice. Consume this mixture two times in a day. This one work wonderfully for cholera.
