Home Remedies for Dark Underarms

A dark underarm means darkening of the skin below the arms due to heavy sweating, inactive cells, and rubbing of several clothes. It is more visible in fair complexion skin. It is a common problem and can be cure with different natural home remedies.

The major symptoms of dark underarms are darkness appears in armpits due to itching, body smell, sweating.

Darkness of underarms causes due to wearing tight fitted cloths, shaving, improper cleaning of armpits, development of dead skin, use of perfume and deodorants, bad smell, and any infection.

Home Remedies for Dark underarms

Several useful home remedies for Dark underarms are as follows.

Make a paste by using one tbsp of curd, one tsp of gram flour and milk, and a pinch of turmeric powder. Apply the paste on the underarms and wash with cold water after 15 minutes. It will give you a good result.

You can also put the pack of sandalwood powder and rose water on your underarms. This also helps to remove darkness of the armpits.

Potato juice is a good home remedy for removal of darkness of the skin.

Rub a slice of lemon in your armpits daily. It also reduces the darkness from the skin.

One of the best home remedy for dark underarms is application of dried orange peels with yogurt around the affected area.

Application of cucumber juice with turmeric powder is consider as good bleach for dark under arm.

Rub the infected area with backing soda regularly after taking bath. It helps to reduce the darkness of the skin.

Apply the coconut oil on the affected portion of the skin. It works wonderfully for removing the dead skin.
