Heat Rash

A heat rash is exactly how it sounds; it is a rash that is caused by exposure to excessive amount of heat. The heat rash appears as tiny red cluster like pimple. A heat rash can occur anywhere on the body, but it is mostly found on the upper regions of the body such as the neck, chest, and elbows. Heat rashes usually occur in hot environments. Heat rashes can be treated and control with proper maintenance and care and the great thing is that they usually heal on their own.

Take cool baths

Wear clothes that are breezy and light

Try to stay in a cooler environment to treat Heat Rashes, by using fans and air conditioners if necessary.

Try not to put harsh clothes on your skin, such as towels when bathing. Instead of the towel just air dry.

Sometimes antibiotics are needed when an infection occurs in the rash, just to make sure you are on the safe side, see your healthcare provider anyway to avoid worsening of the Heat Rash condition.
