Home Remedies for Eczema

The term eczema comes from the Greek word "to boil". It is one of the common skin related disease and usually occur on infants and children. It is otherwise called as dermatitis. There are various types of eczema that includes atopic eczema, allergic dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, infantile seborrhoeic eczema, adult seborrhoeic eczema. Eczema is not infectious but causing itching and redness on the hands, neck, face, arms, wrists and knees regions. Eczema can be cure naturally.

Symptoms of Eczema

The common symptoms of eczema are feeling itching and inflammation on the skin, dry and blistering skin, appearance of tiny bumps on forehead, neck region, and rough skin.

Causes of Eczema

The several causes of eczema are allergies, lack of nutrition, varicose veins, cold and dry weather, improper metabolism in body and inability to emit toxins from the body.

Home Remedies for Eczema

Application of coconut oil on the affected area is a best home remedy for eczema. It keeps the skin soft.

Sunbath is very effective for eczema because it destroys the hurtful bacteria from our skin.

Prepare a paste with one table spoon of turmeric powder and neem leaves. Apply this paste on the affected area. It is the best eczema remedy.

Application of light mudpack over the affected area is also effective treatment for eczema.

Do not use soap, chemicals over the eczema affected area.

Take 1 tsp of comfrey root, 1 tsp of slippery elm bark, 1 tsp of white oak bark and mix them together with two cup of water. Then boil it for half an hour. Clean the affected area with this water. This is one of the best cures for eczema.

Application of mashed papaya on the eczema affected area can reduce itching and redness on the skin.
