Home Remedies for Indigestion

Indigestion is one of the common problems in stomach. It mainly occurs due to consumption of different varieties of food products. The several symptoms of indigestion are acidity, heartburn, tummy ache, gas problems. Women are facing indigestion problem during manstrual periods.

Causes of Indigestion

There are several causes of indigestion such as eating too much, exercise deficiency, intaking of half coocked or half boiled food, eating very fast without chewing, food allergies.

Home Remedies for Indigestion

Here are some of the good home remedies for indigestion.

Consume half glass of pineapple juice after each meal. This is one of the easiest methods for indigestion problem.

Aniseed is another best home remedu for indigestion. Take half tea spoon of aniseed; it will help in digestion properly.

For indigestion and heartburn the tea made from ginger is one of the effective home remedy.

Take a glass of lukewarm water and mix a teaspoon of lemon juice, tea spoon of ginger and two spoonfull of honey to it. Drink this mixure whenever you are feeling any digestion.

Place ice bag over the stomach area for half an hour to improve digestion.

Mix same amount of baking soda and water together and drink this solution for quick relief.

Add a tea spoon of cumin seed in one glass of water. This is one of the effective remedy for indigestion.

Doing yoga like kapalbhati, anulomaviloma and ujjai are very much useful for curing indigestion problem.

Take ground cardamom seed, ginger, cloves and coriander and mix all the ingradiants together and cosume it. This is the best natural treatment for indigestion.

Add two tea spoon of coriander juice in buttermilk and drink this juice at the time of indigestion. It will help to improve digestion properly.

Peppermint is very useful for indigestion problem.

Ginger is the best home remedy for indigestion. You can chew a piece of ginger with salt for five to ten minutes before taking meals. It will help to improve digestion quickly.
